Event Details
Networking is something we all do, in one form or another - but that doesn’t mean it comes naturally to everyone.
In this practical lunchtime networking masterclass, Dublin Chamber is delighted to partner with the Gaiety School of Acting to look at what really helps when you are meeting new people, introducing yourself and talking about what you do.
Drawing on the Gaiety School’s experience in performance and communication, the session will explore how to present yourself with confidence while still feeling natural and genuine. You will have the opportunity to practise, try things out and get expert guidance in a relaxed setting.
The focus won’t be on perfect pitches or rehearsed lines. It’s about finding a way of communicating that feels like you, while giving you the confidence to start conversations, talk about your business and make a good connection.
The skills you develop will be useful well beyond networking events. From meeting clients and colleagues to speaking up in the workplace, you will leave this masterclass knowing how to own those moments when you need to introduce yourself and make an impression.
