Dublin Chamber are delighted to announce an upcoming business breakfast with PwC on Tuesday 30th September in which we see PwC present insights into measures that may be included by the Minister for Finance as part of the Budget 2026 package. Our expert speakers will share views on the potential measures and what they would mean for entrepreneurs, their businesses and their impact on the wider SME sector. They will also reflect on the PwC 2026 Pre-Budget submission.

Claire Shanahan, Director, PwC Private Tax

Claire is a Director in PwC’s Private tax team. She provides tax consulting services to large and privately owned Irish businesses and their shareholders, with expertise in corporate tax consultancy, compliance, domestic tax structuring and tax efficient planning. Claire also specialises on matters relating capital taxes, wealth management, wealth transition, shareholder restructuring. Claire works with clients in the domestic market including privately and family-owned groups and entrepreneurs, is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Irish Tax Institute.

Sarah Cahill, Corporate Tax Manager, PwC Private Tax

Sarah is a Corporate Tax Manager in PwC'S Private tax team where she delivers comprehensive tax consultancy and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of Irish companies. With extensive experience supporting private businesses, Sarah has played a key role in managing corporate tax matters, including corporate reorganisations and mergers and acquisitions. She also advises shareholders on wealth management, shareholder restructuring, divestment strategies, and succession planning for family businesses. Sarah is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accounts and the Irish Tax Institute.
