The Sustainability Academy: Environmental Strategy Bootcamp: Carbon Reporting and Reduction - What You Need to Know

Event Details

This workshop is for professionals who need to move from general sustainability goals to specific climate action. If your organisation is expected to report on emissions, respond to climate-related questions in tenders, or set reduction targets, this session will help you understand what’s required and how to approach it.

You’ll learn how to calculate and report a carbon footprint, how science-based targets work, and how to build a decarbonisation strategy that’s practical and relevant to your business.

Why attend in person?

This is a technical subject, and it’s much easier to work through it face-to-face. You’ll have the chance to ask questions, compare approaches with others in the room, and get direct feedback from our facilitators. It’s also a rare opportunity to step away from day-to-day pressures and focus on a topic that’s becoming increasingly important in procurement, compliance and stakeholder/client conversations.

Connect with peers

You’ll be in the room with others facing similar challenges. Whether you're working on your first emissions report or refining a climate strategy, this is a chance to exchange ideas, compare notes and build useful connections. The format allows time for discussion and informal conversation, which can be just as valuable as the content itself.

What’s covered?

- How to measure and report your organisation’s carbon footprint

- What science-based targets mean and how to set them

- How to build a decarbonisation plan that fits your organisation’s structure and goals

Who should attend?

This workshop is suited to:

- Sustainability and environmental managers

- Corporate strategists

- Professionals involved in climate reporting or planning

You don’t need to be an expert, but you should already be familiar with the basics of sustainability.

Participation is priced at €99 per module for Dublin Chamber members and €330 for non-Chamber members.

This fee includes a one-hour, post-workshop one-on-one advisory consultation per company with an expert advisor from industry leaders Goodbody Clearstream
