Webinar, Dublin Chamber, . .

The cost to take part in this programme is €99 for Dublin Chamber members and €330 for non-members.

For some contracts with immediate effect, and from 2025 all tenders over €50,000 must include sustainable end environment technical specifications and contract specific award criteria.
This mandatory requirement is a game change for tenderers.

With upwards of 10% of all marks to be allocated to GPP you will need to fully understand this new policy and all its nuances to win public contracts.  All businesses will need to get up to date on how green public procurement will be part of their business development.

  • What is GPP and why is there a need for it?
  • EU and national guidance
  • Overview of GPP sectors
  • Cost issues - Life cycle costing (LCC) and how it can be used for public procurement
  • What are common GPP criteria and how these criteria can be used in tenders

This workshop will be delivered by Dr Peter Brennan, owner/manager of Bid Services, who provided procurement advisory support to DECC in the preparation of the GPP Strategy.
