•           How to build your network
•           How to make your network work for you
•           How can networking make a difference in your career?

Wed 17 Jan 2024
12:30 PM - 02:00 PM
Iveagh Garden Hotel, 72/74 Harcourt St, Dublin D02 Y282
The Problem…..the hidden cost of Covid is that our networks have shrunk – we have tended to hunker down with family and friends and just a few business connections, the inner concentric ring of our network where we have strong emotional ties and we have let wither the outer concentric ring where we have a wide array of weak ties – however this is where opportunity lies. As a result, companies are facing 5 significant problems/challenges as follows –

There is less business development
There is less learning on the job
There is less random, serendipitous and luck encounters
There is less company loyalty
There is less company culture

The solution…..we have to get back out networking but we have lost the appetite and the habit.

Our Masterclass on Networking will set out a precise four step process for building strong and diverse networks and will explain why Networking is now more important than ever for companies and individuals and how the number one predictor of career success is being in an open network.

We will look at the key skills needed to be a good networker, like personal branding and being a good listener and how to build social capital.
We will also look at the different types of network that need to be developed and the importance of building soft skills and what companies need to do to promote a culture of Networking in their organisations.
