In his current role, Niall is responsible for driving FREE NOW’s strategic mission as Ireland’s leading ride hailing taxi app, with over 14,000 drivers operating across several key locations nationwide. Niall leads a team of over 45 in the Irish market who work closely with FREE NOW’s pan-European network to facilitate flexible and sustainable multi-modal transport options for passengers and drivers.
Niall has worked with FREE NOW for almost six years and prior to leading its operations as General Manager for Ireland, Niall held a number of roles within the senior leadership team, including as Head of Sales for UK & Ireland and Head of Sales & Strategic Growth. In 2015, Niall was instrumental in the launch of the B2B business in Ireland - this became the fastest growing area of the company for four consecutive years, making Ireland the best performing B2B market across Europe.
Before joining Hailo in 2015, Niall worked with Ireland’s leading car sharing company GoCar as Head of Sales & Operations for over 3 years. Prior to this, he worked as Strategic Business Development Manager for vehicle rental company Europcar Ireland having originally joined the company in 2011.
Niall also worked with Thrifty Car Rentals early in his career within corporate sales.
Niall holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Dublin Institute of Technology.
Niall played Rugby in Clontarf, Co. Dublin for over 15 years and spent four years in a player-coach role with Naas Rugby Club in the All-Ireland League. He is also a water-sports enthusiast and enjoys both wakeboarding and water-skiing in his spare time.
Originally from Cavan, Niall now lives in Clonmellon, Co. Westmeath with his wife and three kids.
