Event Details
The Dublin City Centre Taskforce's recommendations have provided a roadmap for improving safety, revitalising the public realm and addressing wider challenges facing the city centre.
Dublin Chamber is keen to hear directly from members about their experiences of the city centre, the challenges facing their businesses and the improvements they believe should be prioritised.
We invite you to share your views at our online roundtable discussion on Friday, 23rd October at 12 noon. The session will last approximately 60 minutes and will be centred on the contributions of participants. Each attendee will be invited to share their perspectives on the following questions:
1. Our Q3 survey found that just over half of respondents believe safety in Dublin city centre has worsened over the past year. How does this compare with your experience, and what specific issues or experiences shape your assessment?
2. How does the physical condition and management of the city centre, including dereliction, cleanliness, waste collection and the location of drug treatment and homelessness support services, affect your business and its surrounding area?
3. Based on your experience, where are current approaches to safety in Dublin city centre succeeding or falling short, and which changes would make the greatest difference to your business?
