As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes more widely adopted, there is growing debate about its potential impact on workforce demand, particularly for graduates and other new labour market entrants, and the skills that will be required in an evolving economy. Dublin Chamber is keen to hear members' views and experiences on these issues.
Against this backdrop, Dublin Chamber would like to invite members to participate in a roundtable discussion focused on the impact of AI on the labour market, the challenges and opportunities businesses foresee, and how Ireland can best prepare its workforce for the future.
The roundtable will take place online at 12 pm on Friday, 19th June. The session will last approximately 60 minutes and will centre on the contributions of participants. Each attendee will be asked to briefly speak on the following questions:
1. How is AI affecting workforce needs within your organisation, and what changes do you anticipate in the demand for different types of roles over the next five years?
2. To what extent is AI affecting demand for graduates and other entry-level roles, and what skills will be most valuable for workers entering the labour market?
3. What policy, education or training measures should be prioritised to help businesses and workers adapt successfully to AI-driven change?
Please register your interest in participating by emailing eimear@dublinchamber.ie. Please note that attendance is limited to one representative per member company.
