Event Details
Dublin Chamber will be submitting its views to Government to inform the new Action Plan for Apprenticeship 2026-2030. To ensure that our recommendations reflect the experiences of members, we are seeking your input on how the apprenticeship system can better meet employer needs while supporting Ireland’s long-term skills and investment priorities under the National Development Plan.
We would therefore like to invite you to an online roundtable discussion at 12 pm on Friday, 23rd January. The session will last approximately 60 minutes and will centre on the contributions of participants.
Each attendee will be asked to briefly speak on the following questions:
Q1. From your organisation’s perspective, what role, if any, do apprenticeships currently play in meeting your skills needs?
Q2. What are the main barriers preventing your organisation from engaging more fully with apprenticeships, and which of these would make the biggest difference if addressed?
Q3. What would make your company increase its uptake of apprenticeships and how can the apprenticeship system be more responsive to your firm’s skills needs?
Please register your interest in participating by emailing eimear@dublinchamber.ie. Please note that attendance is limited to one representative per member company.
