This autumn, for the first time, all Sustainability Academy workshops will take place in person at Dublin Chamber, 7 Clare Street, Dublin 2. After five years online, we’re bringing professionals together to learn, connect and build something lasting.

We’re offering a special rate of €420 for those who register for the full series of five workshops (normally €495). This includes a free one-hour advisory consultation with a sustainability expert from Goodbody Clearstream, tailored to your organisation.

Whether you're new to sustainability or looking to build on existing knowledge, this series provides a structured way to learn what matters and apply it in your role.

Programme Overview

Each workshop runs from 9:00am to 1:00pm and includes practical content, discussion, and follow-up support.

Sustainability 101 – ESG in Practice

Date: Thursday 25 September
Location: Dublin Chamber, 7 Clare Street, Dublin 2

This introductory session is designed for professionals who are starting to work with sustainability or ESG. It explains the basics clearly and shows how these ideas apply in a business setting.

Topics include:

  • What sustainability and ESG mean in practice

  • How ESG relates to risk, opportunity and business performance

  • Simple ways to begin integrating sustainability into your work

  • Why ESG matters to organisations of all sizes

Who should attend:
Managers, team leads and professionals who want to understand the fundamentals and begin applying responsible practices in their organisation.

Environmental Strategy Bootcamp – Carbon Footprint & Decarbonisation

Date: Wednesday 8 October
Location: Dublin Chamber, 7 Clare Street, Dublin 2

This workshop focuses on environmental strategy, with a practical look at how to measure and reduce your organisation’s carbon footprint.

Topics include:

  • How to calculate and report your carbon footprint

  • Setting realistic and science-based carbon reduction targets

  • Building a decarbonisation plan that fits your organisation

Who should attend:
Professionals working in sustainability, climate strategy or reporting. A basic understanding of sustainability is helpful but not required.

Strategic Sustainability Leadership

Date: Wednesday 5 November
Location: Dublin Chamber, 7 Clare Street, Dublin 2

This session is for those leading sustainability efforts. It focuses on how to guide change, communicate clearly and report progress with credibility.

Topics include:

  • Leadership approaches for embedding sustainability

  • Key reporting frameworks, including CSRD

  • Communicating sustainability to internal and external stakeholders

Who should attend:
Senior professionals, sustainability managers and anyone responsible for reporting or leading sustainability initiatives.

Sustainable Business Practices – Strengthening Customer Connections

Date: Wednesday 26 November

This workshop looks at how sustainability affects customer relationships. It explores how responsible practices can support trust, improve communication and set your brand apart.

Topics include:

  • What customers expect from businesses on sustainability

  • How to build sustainability into your value proposition

  • Communicating your organisation’s efforts in a clear and honest way

Professionals in sales, marketing, communications and customer-facing roles.

Internal Sustainability Integration – Building a Sustainable Workplace Culture

Date: Thursday 4 December

This session focuses on the internal side of sustainability. It looks at how HR, finance and operations can support a responsible culture and improve performance.

Topics include:

  • How internal sustainability supports employee engagement and efficiency

  • Practical ways to reduce waste and improve workplace practices

  • Integrating sustainability into HR processes, from recruitment to retention

Professionals in HR, finance, operations and other internal roles who want to make sustainability part of everyday work.
