Garth Brooks 5 Night Bonanza to Inject Millions into National Economy
+ Dublin Chamber predicts five nights in Croke Park will generate up to 35 million euro
Friday 9th September 2022: Garth Brooks begins his five-night stint tonight in Croke Park, which will see an estimated 400,000 fans in attendance over the coming days. Dublin Chamber estimates that tourists travelling to the concerts will provide a €35 million boost to the economy.
Dublin Chamber’s Director of Public & International Affairs, Aebhric Mc Gibney, said: “With over 120,000 fans coming from Northern Ireland and further afield, the additional spend in Dublin will be in excess of €35 million. This comes from increased spending on dining, entertainment, shopping, travel, and accommodation.”
