GreenChambers Project Update

Back to Articles

31 January 2024

This month, we hosted our inaugural session for the GreenChambers Erasmus+ project, bringing together representatives from various chambers across Poland, Slovenia, Malta, Spain, and Ireland. The purpose was to introduce them to the forthcoming training package developed by our project partners.

This project aims to empower Chambers of Commerce with enhanced capabilities to assist their SME members in crafting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies. With a focus on aligning vocational education and training (VET) with the demands of the job market, the project was conceived from a collective concern among participating chambers about the quality of ESG assessments provided to their members.

Recognising the urgent need for SMEs to adopt sustainable practices to boost competitiveness and resilience, the project aims to provide immediate support in this regard.

Over three days, participants collaborated to review and provide feedback on the training package, while also gaining insights into implementing ESG strategies within their chambers.
