Sharon founded Jiminy in 2018 because as a parent she couldnt buy the plastic wrapped in plastic anymore, and figured she probably wasn't alone.

It's a social enterprise that exists to inspire a playfully sustainable world, by making it easy to choose a gift that delights both the child and their planet. Jiminy.ie stocks up to 850 climate-neutral, minimal-waste toys for all ages from babies through teenagers with next working day delivery from Limerick, Ireland.

To date Jiminy has empowered 15,000 unique customers to make that good toy-buying choice, selling a total of over €2 million of sustainably-made new toys, with a climate impact like having protected 4,500 mature trees from deforestation.

Sharon also shares her learnings with the global toy industry, including cofounding the Women in Toys Sustainability Learning Community, speaking at the world's biggest toy fair Spielwarenmesse 2023, and coorganising the bio!TOY sustainable plastic toys conference for toy makers and plastics makers in March 2023.
