Understanding Dementia

Back to Articles

25 May 2023

There are 64,000 people living with dementia in Ireland, so chances are most people will know someone living with the disease. That’s why it’s important for us all to understand dementia.

Saint Joseph's Shankill, Ireland's leading dementia care provider, brings their experiences and advice to a 30-minute lunchtime information/awareness session including:

  • General information about living with dementia
  • Connecting with a person living with dementia
  • Signposting services and supports for people living with dementia

This is an interactive session that would be ideal for any organisation’s staff wellness programme.
