Minister of State with special responsibility for Small Business, Retail and the Circular Economy Alan Dillon has launched the 2026 Circular Economy Innovation Grant Scheme (CEIGS), with funding more than doubling from €650,000 to €1.5 million this year. The scheme supports organisations to develop, demonstrate and scale practical circular economy solutions that reduce waste, improve resource efficiency and contribute to Ireland’s wider circular economy objectives. Grants of up to €150,000 are available.

The scheme will prioritise projects in areas including plastics, construction and demolition, food waste, and resources and raw materials, with an emphasis on practical implementation and measurable impact.

Applications are open until 12 October 2026, with an online information session taking place on 21 September. For further information, see here.
