Ireland will launch European AI Innovation Month in Dublin this October as part of its Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The month-long European programme will begin with the International AI Summit at the RDS on 14 October, bringing together EU Commissioners and Ministers, senior business leaders and leading AI experts to examine how Europe can accelerate the adoption and deployment of artificial intelligence.

Under the theme ‘Harnessing AI to Revolutionise Europe’s Competitiveness’, the summit will focus on moving from AI research to practical applications that deliver value for businesses, public services and the wider economy. Discussions will explore the infrastructure, computing capacity, energy, connectivity and skills required to support greater AI adoption, alongside emerging technologies including generative and agentic AI. The event will also feature sector-focused sessions and an Innovation Spotlight Exhibition, showcasing cutting-edge AI innovation
