Dublin Chamber is inviting a small number of SMEs to help shape and test DeliverSME, a proposed one-stop-shop service designed to simplify commercial building energy upgrades.

The pilot is particularly relevant to SMEs that occupy or own commercial premises, including businesses in hospitality, food retail, light industry, logistics and other energy-intensive sectors. Companies considering upgrades to heating, controls, refrigeration, solar PV, lighting, building fabric or wider whole-building systems are encouraged to take part. Both owner-occupied and tenant–landlord situations are eligible.

Participating businesses will receive independent support, including an energy-use and building assessment, practical energy-saving advice, and a clear upgrade pathway outlining indicative costs, potential savings and delivery options. The service will also explore support with finance readiness, contractor selection, contracting, quality assurance and performance measurement.

Participation may involve an initial discussion, sharing relevant building and operational information, considering a site assessment, reviewing the options presented and providing feedback on the process.

DeliverSME is being developed for the EU LIFE Clean Energy Transition funding programme and is currently at application stage. Participation at this stage is non-binding, with no obligation to undertake any works.
