The Women TechEU programme has launched its latest call, offering €12 million in equity-free funding to support women leading early-stage deep-tech companies across Europe.
Between 2026 and 2028, 160 selected start-ups will each receive a €75,000 non-dilutive grant, enabling founders to grow their businesses without giving up equity. Successful applicants will also take part in a personalised six-month business development programme, which includes mentoring, training, networking and opportunities to connect with investors and corporate partners.
The programme is open to eligible women-led deep-tech start-ups based in EU Member States and Horizon Europe-associated countries. Applicants must be early-stage SMEs operating for between six months and five years, with a woman founder or co-founder holding a senior management position and owning at least 25% of the company.

Women TechEU is hosting a series of online InfoDays for founders who would like to learn more about the programme and application process before applying.
Upcoming sessions include:
- 6 August 2026 at 12:00 CEST
- 15 September 2026 at 16:00 CET
A further four sessions will take place through early 2027.

Opportunities for Mentors and Evaluators
Women TechEU is also inviting experienced professionals to apply as mentors for upcoming beneficiary cohorts or as proposal evaluators. Both are paid positions and offer an opportunity to support the development of women-led deep-tech businesses across Europe.
