Dublin Chamber and AIB Move Forward Together

Back to Articles

27 March 2026

Dublin Chamber continuing its partnership with AIB in 2026, building on a collaboration that has supported businesses through a period of rapid change in how sustainability is understood and applied.

Over the past five years, the Sustainability Academy has provided practical, structured learning through workshops that helped many organisations take their first steps or build internal capability. That remains an important part of the offer. The difference now is where the conversation has moved.

Many businesses across the Chamber network are further along. Sustainability is being discussed at board level, linked to finance, risk and long term planning. In response, the programme is evolving. Alongside the core workshops, 2026 will see a stronger focus on the Sustainability Network, bringing together business leaders for more open, expert led discussion.

These sessions are designed to reflect the reality of decision making. They will centre on informed conversation, shared experience and active participation, with space for questions that do not always fit neatly into a classroom setting. The emphasis is on learning from others facing similar pressures, in a setting that encourages honest exchange.

This combined approach offers a more rounded form of support. Workshops continue to provide practical guidance, while the Network creates room for deeper engagement and connection across the business community.

AIB’s role in this remains central. The bank has established itself as a leading voice on sustainability within the Irish market, particularly in how it supports customers through transition and financing decisions. Its continued partnership ensures that the programme stays closely aligned with real business needs.

For members, the opportunity is clear. Engage with the workshops, take part in the conversations, and make use of the network being built around you.
