Navigating the growing number of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) requirements and regulations can be challenging for Irish SMEs, especially when exporting. As large EU companies embed ESG criteria into supplier selection, it is critical that Irish exporters understand the necessary criteria for their chosen markets, to allow them to compete for and win major contracts abroad.

Enterprise Ireland has created a new guide to support Irish SMEs on their sustainable export journey into the EU. It outlines ESG requirements for Germany, France, Spain and Italy, across the following sectors: Technology and Services, Industrial & Life Sciences, and Food & Sustainability.
