Dublin Chamber members now have a new route to accelerate sustainability and digital transformation through FIERCE, a three-year EU-funded initiative running from November 2024 to October 2027 under Horizon Europe. The project aims to support SMEs, start-ups, and scale-ups in harnessing space-enabled data to tackle green challenges, from circularity and raw materials to environmental monitoring and corporate sustainability.
FIERCE will provide €2.5 million in financial support to 70 SMEs, with grants of up to €50,000 each to help develop, test, or adopt space-enabled green solutions. Another 140 SMEs will benefit from targeted technical and business advisory, including up to 50 hours of mentoring to improve processes and commercialise innovations. Local entrepreneurship initiatives, delivered via over 15 innovation intermediaries, will strengthen ecosystems, foster skills, and encourage networking
For Dublin-based companies looking to explore new sustainable solutions, this is a practical opportunity to innovate with support and funding. To learn more and explore participation, visit project-fierce.eu or contact Dublin Chamber for guidance.
