The latest findings from the Eurochambres Women Entrepreneurs Survey 2025, conducted in partnership with UN Women reveal a stark reality: only one-third of businesses in the EU are started by women, underscoring a persistent gender gap in entrepreneurial activity.
Women Entrepreneurship EEN proudly participated in this survey in a collaboration with Eurochambres Women Network (EWN) and other partners.
While research shows that empowering women to become entrepreneurs can drive economic growth, boost employment rates, and fuel innovation, women continue to face unique challenges in starting and growing their businesses, mostly including difficulties accessing finance and balancing family responsibilities.
