Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline, and Vodafone Ireland announced the extension of their long-standing partnership with a renewed nine-year contract.
A Vodafone Ireland customer since 2001, the renewed contract will support Ryanair's continued growth ambitions, including its goal of carrying 300 million passengers annually by FY34, while further strengthening the airline's digital operations across Europe.
Vodafone Ireland currently provides connectivity, cloud, security and managed services to Ryanair, supporting the airline across more than 400 locations in Europe, including its offices, hangars, and training centres, connecting thousands of employees.
As part of the partnership, Vodafone Ireland provides a single managed framework for telecommunications, cybersecurity and managed services, enabling Ryanair to simplify operations, increase agility and drive efficiencies across its European network.
Vodafone also supports thousands of connected devices across the airline, including approximately 26,000 handheld devices used by pilots, cabin crew, operations and engineers and ground staff. These devices enable real-time access to flight information, crew communications, maintenance updates, operational reporting and passenger service tools, helping to streamline operations and deliver a more efficient travel experience.
