Solar Ireland, in partnership with Collins McNicholas, will launch its new report, The Experience Gap: Ireland’s Renewable Energy Workforce, on Tuesday, 29th September at 10am.

The report explores the people, skills and experience Ireland’s renewable energy sector will need as it continues to grow, highlighting the challenges employers are facing today and the areas where pressure is beginning to emerge.

A key theme from the research is that having the right skills is only part of the challenge. Gaining the practical experience employers need will also be critical to building the workforce required in the years ahead.

The launch event will bring together perspectives from Solar Ireland, Collins McNicholas and industry to discuss how stronger pathways into renewables can be created, how people can gain experience on real projects, and how careers in the sector can become more visible and accessible.
