ZEB Summit 2026 has announced its highly anticipated speaker and programme line-up, bringing some of the world's leading voices in sustainable construction, building science and climate-focused design to Dublin this September 23rd, 2026.

As Ireland's only event dedicated exclusively to Zero Emission Buildings, ZEB Summit 2026 will bring together industry leaders, policymakers and practitioners to explore the technologies, projects and practical solutions helping deliver high-performance buildings that meet increasingly ambitious climate targets.

With Zero Emission Building requirements for new public buildings coming into effect from 2028, and for all new buildings from 2030, demand for practical guidance, proven solutions and technical expertise has never been greater. ZEB Summit plays a pivotal role in supporting the industry through this transition, bringing together educational talks, live demonstrations, innovative workshops and much more.

Delivered in collaboration with Event Partner, Dublin City Council, ZEB Summit 2026 will be officially opened by Minister James Browne TD, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, and will bring together some of the most influential international voices in sustainability, architecture, construction, retrofit and building science, including:

 

  • Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Feist: World renowned physicist who developed the Passivhaus concept and founded the Passivhaus Institute in Darmstadt in 1996, where he remains head of research.
  • Matt Risinger: International Building Expert from Texas, Founder of Risinger Build and creator of The Build Show, one of the world's most influential online platforms dedicated to building science and high-performance construction, reaching millions of professionals and homeowners each year.
  • David Mikhail: Stirling Prize-winning architect and Founding Director of MIKHAIL RICHES. Responsible for Goldsmith Street, 105 Passive homes for Norwich - the only social housing scheme ever to win the RIBA Stirling Prize.
  • Emma Fletcher: Innovation Director at Octopus Energy, leading one of the UK's most ambitious programmes demonstrating how homes can be designed to produce as much energy as they consume.
  • Michael Ingui: Internationally recognised architect and global Passivhaus leader, President of Ingui Architecture.

Alongside the international headliners, ZEB Summit 2026 will bring together 60+ influential industry speakers from Ireland including:

ZEB Summit – The Science of Zero Emission Design, will return to the RDS, Dublin on 23 September 2026, bringing together Ireland’s construction and built environment leaders alongside an increasingly international audience at a pivotal moment for the industry. Hosted by Mosart, Ireland’s leaders in sustainable, high-performance Passivhaus design, and delivered in collaboration with Event Partner Dublin City Council, the summit will once again act as a focal point for the conversation around how Europe delivers buildings that meet tightening climate regulations and perform in the real world.
