Charities Institute Ireland (Cii), the representative body for Ireland's leading charities and nonprofit organisations, today announced the appointment of Scott Kelley as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Scott succeeds Áine Myler, who has led the organisation since January 2022 and will conclude her tenure at the end of July this year.
Having served as Chief Operating Officer of Charities Institute Ireland since its inception in 2016, Scott brings a deep understanding of the organisation, its members and the wider charity sector. In his role as COO, Scott has overseen Cii's operational policies, strategic initiatives and organisational development, helping to shape and deliver the organisation's vision over the past decade.
With more than twenty years' experience in business operations, strategic development and sales, Scott has built a strong track record in stakeholder engagement, budget management and event delivery across Ireland, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Announcing the appointment, Chair of Charities Institute Ireland, Peter Cosgrove, said:
