08 April 2026

The Supply Chain Sustainability School Ireland is supporting businesses across Ireland’s built environment sector to turn sustainability ambition into practical action. Launched in Ireland in January 2024, the School is a free virtual learning platform designed to upskill those working in, or aspiring to work in, the built environment. Backed by industry Partners from across the sector, the School brings together clients, contractors and supply chains to share knowledge, build capability and support more sustainable business practice across the sector. Through free membership, businesses and individuals can access hundreds of online learning resources, CPD-accredited content, assessment tools and training sessions. Members can benchmark their current knowledge, complete a confidential self-assessment and receive a bespoke learning plan or action plan tailored to their needs. The School’s learning offer covers a wide range of priority topics, including Energy and Carbon; Sustainability Strategy; Sustainable Procurement; Community & Social Impact; Fairness, Inclusion and Respect; Modern Slavery; and Waste and Resource Efficiency. Recent findings from the School’s 2025–2026 Impact Survey point to strong engagement and positive outcomes. Nearly 93% of respondents said their organisation engages with the School either regularly or from time to time, while feedback also highlighted the School’s role in helping organisations strengthen their understanding of sustainability, support client objectives, and embed sustainability more effectively into day-to-day business practice.

For Dublin Chamber members, the School offers a practical and accessible way to build internal capability, support teams with relevant sustainability learning, and respond to growing expectations across business, procurement and the wider built environment. With membership free to join, it provides a simple starting point for organisations at any stage of their sustainability journey. (Sustainability School Ireland)
