Lauralu UK & Ireland, specialists in adaptable temporary buildings and structures, continue to demonstrate their versatility across diverse markets — from industrial and logistics to sport and leisure.

Their latest collaboration is with Padel Society, to deliver a bespoke cover solution at their established Muckamore club in Antrim. The venue has already seen strong bookings and community engagement since opening, reflecting the global momentum behind the sport , now played by over 25 million people across more than 90 countries.

For Lauralu, it’s an exciting opportunity to be part of Padel Society’s journey and to support the next stage of their growth.

The partnership was built through a considered and collaborative process. Following initial outreach and engagement by Chris, the Padel Society team visited several Lauralu installations in England to experience the quality and adaptability of the structures firsthand. Multiple presentations and site visits to Muckamore followed, ensuring Lauralu fully understood the client’s vision and could identify the most suitable and efficient solution for the project.

With courts already installed, Lauralu’s team has worked closely with Padel Society to ensure every aspect of the project is carefully planned, allowing for a smooth installation with minimal disruption or closures to the club.

The structures have been ordered and are due for installation in early December. The plans were marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local representatives and the Lord Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, and members of the council, celebrating the club’s strong first season of operations and continued investment in the local community. Padel Society continues to grow its community programmes, running school sessions with Parkhall Integrated College and team days with local sports clubs, including Larne FC and Ballymena United. New community and corporate initiatives are set to launch this winter.

This established venue is also a fantastic opportunity for NI Chamber members to rethink how meetings are done, swapping the boardroom for the padel courts.

We are looking forward to sharing the end result later this year
