Codex, Ireland's largest B2B workplace office solutions company, is stepping up with a new initiative designed to help employers close the gap on neuroinclusion and create workplaces where everyone can thrive.
A Partnership Born of Purpose
Unveiled earlier this month following its debut at the 2025 Autism Europe Conference, the “Thrive by Codex x AsIAm” Neuroinclusion Workspace Collection represents a milestone in inclusive design. Codex partnered with AsIAm, Ireland’s Autism charity, to develop the range, reflecting their shared commitment to building inclusion into workplaces from the outset.
The collection consists of 34 autism-friendly products, each developed and tested in collaboration with AsIAm and endorsed by the organisation. With the launch of this neuroinclusive range, Codex has become a leading advocate for the acceptance of neurodivergent employees and the need for more inclusive working environments.
Research Driving Design
Earlier this year Codex published its ‘Neuroinclusion in the Workplace’ report, drawing on input from more than 200 neurodivergent employees. The report highlighted some of the daily challenges people face at work, including sensitivity to noise and light, as well as issues with communication and social interaction. These insights directly shaped the Thrive collection, ensuring that every product is functional, accessible and inclusive by design.
Common barriers in modern offices, from sensory overload and lack of private spaces to limited awareness across workplaces, informed the research. Codex and AsIAm translated these findings into practical solutions to foster a more inclusive and adaptive working environment.
The Balance Booth
At the heart of the new range is the bespoke, AsIAm-endorsed Balance Booth, created to reduce sensory overwhelm and allow employees to recharge while staying connected to their teams. Designed with unique sensory features, the booths include tactile ridged dots under the table for sensory input, a fresh-air feature, and adjustable coloured lights to support self-regulation.
While conceived with neurodivergent colleagues in mind and developed from the market research that Codex carried out, the booths will benefit all staff who experience stress or need privacy to focus. This reflects a key principle of universal design: solutions that support one group often improve conditions for everyone.
Meeting a Rising Demand
The launch also comes at a pivotal moment. According to Dublin Chamber, a growing share of its 7,000 members are embedding EDI into their strategic priorities, yet many still seek practical tools to support neurodivergent staff. Codex’s new offering responds directly to this demand and positions Ireland at the forefront of a wider movement toward inclusive, human-centred workplaces.
AsIAm’s Same Chance Report 2025 shows why neuroinclusion matters. Among 1,400 respondents, 86% feel they don’t have the same chance as non-Autistic people in Irish society, and in the workplace, 70% receive no support or accommodations — even though adjustments like quieter spaces, flexible hours, and sensory-friendly design have been shown to make a positive difference for wellbeing and performance.
Support for Chamber Members
In recognition of the launch, the company offers a special promotion on the Balance Booth and can provide tailored demonstrations for organisations with dedicated EDI teams or initiatives.
The company is also planning a showroom and aims to offer Dublin Chamber members early access to experience the range in person. This will allow members to see how the products can support inclusion in their workplaces. To register your interest, please contact marketing@codexltd.com.
