Anthesis Group is proud to announce that Anthesis and Wallbrook, part of Anthesis, have once again been recognised as leading firms in the 2025 Chambers and Partners Guides, achieving top-tier rankings across multiple practice areas.
The rankings are based on independent research, and most importantly, direct feedback from clients. This recognition is a powerful testament to the quality, rigour, and impact of their work, as well as the trust their clients place in the organsiation to support them on critical ESG and investigative matters.
Most notably this year, Anthesis has been named one of only three ESG providers globally to achieve a Band 1 ranking in the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Risk category. This milestone reflects the strength of their integrated ESG offering and their continued leadership in helping clients navigate an evolving sustainability and regulatory landscape.
In addition, Wallbrook has retained its Band 1 ranking for its global Investigative Due Diligence (IDD) practice for the fifth consecutive year, maintaining its position as a market leader since the category was introduced in 2020. Wallbrook has also retained a Band 2 ranking in the Global Asset Tracing & Recovery category.
Anthesis was delighted to learn that several of their experts have also been individually recognised in the 2025 guide:
- Mariana Abreu, Global Lead for Human Rights, is the only ESG practitioner globally to be ranked Band 1 in the ESG Risk category
- Tim Clare, EMEA Lead for ESG & Reporting, is one of only three individuals globally to achieve a Band 2 ranking in the ESG Risk category
- James Hunt, Global Lead for ESG and CEO of Wallbrook, and Ian Barclay, Strategic Growth Director, have retained their Band 2 ranking in the individual Investigative Due Diligence category
- Jonathan Swift, Director for ESG & Reporting, has been ranked for the first time as a Band 2 practitioner in the Asset Tracing & Recovery category
“We’re incredibly proud to be recognised again by Chambers and Partners for 2025. These rankings reflect the impact of our integrated approach and the trust our clients place in us to deliver rigorous, forward-thinking ESG and investigative support. The fact that these recognitions are grounded in client feedback makes them especially meaningful”, said James Hunt, Anthesis’ Global Lead for ESG and CEO of Wallbrook.
