Biography
Anna Rafferty is Director of Strategy representing the Johnson & Johnson (Med Tech and Pharma) operations in Ireland.
Anna has over 20 years’ experience in life sciences having previously led Janssen Sciences Government Affairs and commercial business units.
Anna holds a BSc in Biotechnology, a Graduateship in marketing and a Professional Diploma in Digital Leadership.
Election Statement
My experience and role ensure that I am well positioned to represent the viewpoints and provide insight into the needs of the life sciences member businesses from start-up to multinationals. With 2 sites in Liffey Valley and Tallaght - Dublin is a strategic location for our Johnson & Johnson operations in Ireland.
I understand the challenges business face and am strongly engaged with policymakers, trade associations, universities, and our significant employee base on priority topics including
- Foreign Direct Investment and competitiveness
- Sustainability
- Digital Transformation
- Research development and innovation
- Talent and skills with a focus on diversity and inclusion
- Infrastructure including roads and housing.
If elected I will show up enthusiastically and endeavour to make a meaningful contribution to the work of the chamber.
