Have you been planning to create or improve your digital footprint?  This exciting and leading edge course will help you make your on-line plans a reality for your business in a practical and highly participative programme. By the end of this programme you will have developed your new or revised website prototype and you will be able to improve your level of online sales and marketing. The course has been designed small business start ups in mind and the course fee of 295 euro is fantastic value for money.  Class size is limited to twelve participants who will each have access to computer throughout each session.  Keith Feighery is an experienced and well-known trainer in this area of expertise who has both designed and will deliver all sessions.

 

 

Trainer Profile - Keith Feighery:

Keith holds a first class MA in Digital Media Technologies. He owns Digital Insights, which is a digital media and social technologies consultancy. He works with clients developing enterprise digital and web strategies and solutions that align with overall business objectives. Keith has developed successful online retail businesses and has over 10 years experience working with large Irish and international software vendors and consultancies such as Eontec, Siebel Systems and Allfinanz.

 

To ensure you get the most benefit out of this course, check that you can say yes to all of the following participant course requirements:

 

ü  Do you have a clear business plan which requires an online presence?

ü  Participation in the class is essential – are you willing to share your learnings during the course and to discuss your specific business ideas?

ü  Are you prepared to complete all the exercises outlined in the course description?  You will need to set aside about a hour for exercises between each session – it will be well worth your time.

ü  Do you have access to a PC external to the course with required software or access to a hosting service where an application can be deployed to?

·         Review content managed systems & identify key design decisions

·         How to optimise website information architecture

·         How to trade online & picking a payment gateway provider

 

Week 5

10th June

Develop and Implement an Online Marketing Plan

·         Paid Search Programmes and Search Engine Optimisation

·         Email Marketing – ‘How To’ Tools available, Best Practices

 

Week 6

17th June

 

Effective Use of Social Media

·         Overview of Social Media and specific tools i.e. Twitter, Face book

·         How to identify relevant social media channels for your business

·         Designing, implementing social media campaigns and effectiveness

 

Week 7

24th June

Maximising Online Sales Optimisation

·         Review process, technology and skills to track online sales conversions

·         Deploy site overlay software to gain insights into user usage statistics

·         Optimising sales channels (SEM, Organic Search, PR, Social Media)
