About the Speaker, David Bunworth

David Bunworth, (58) qualified in Trinity College, Dublin with a business degree.  David is Managing Director of Bord Gáis Energy.  He has responsibility for the Sales and Marketing of gas and electricity to both business and domestic users in Ireland.  Within this role he also has responsibility for Customer Service, Regulatory Affairs, Finance and Pricing.

This is the latest move in David’s long line of successful appointments, which spans leading brands such as Aer Lingus, Guinness and ESAT, to name but a few.

David is also the incoming Chairman of the Gate Theatre in Dublin.  In his spare time he is active with St. Michael’s House, Barnardos and the incoming Chairman of Gate Theatre.  He is married with 2 children, is a keen golfer and Tottenham Hotspur fanatic!
